The Behavioral Health Clinician 1/II at the Benteh Wellness Center (BWC) plays a pivotal role in delivering clinical interventions to participants, which are tailored to their unique needs while maintaining the Knik Tribe’s Core Values for Treatment. This position offers a challenging work environment and is designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on an individual’s licensure, certification/training, and years of experience.
Minimum Requirements:
BH Clinician I Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health field including Counseling, Psychology or Social Work; OR PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or other related fields.
- Experience working in behavioral health field directly with clients, which must include practicum hours performed during bachelor’s or master’s program is preferred
BH Clinician II Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health field including Counseling, Psychology or Social Work; OR PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or other related fields.
- Two (2) years of supervised clinical work experience for Master’s level Behavioral Health; OR two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience for PhD or PsyD level;
- Current Alaska Clinical Licensure in designated field.
- Additional certifications/trainings (CPP, EMDR, DBT, etc.) is preferred.
